What is Hemp?

Hemp is a phenotype of the cannabis sativa plant. Hemp originated in Central Asia and cultivation was recorded in 2800 BCE in China.

What is CBD?

CBD short for cannabidiol; a chemical compound found in the cannabis sativa plant. Cannabinoids interact with CB1& CB2 receptors to produce therapeutic effects.

What are terpenes?

Terpenes, cannabinoids, and flavonoids are produced in the trichome glands. Terpenes contribute to what i known as the "entourage effect", meaning they can significantly influence cannabinoid receptors. Terpenes have a lengthy list of benefits on their own that we will continue to explore in future posts.

Will Hemp get me "high"?

Industrial Hemp contains less than .3% of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). With such minimal amounts you'll experience the benefits of this cannabinoid, rather than the altered state associated with THC. Interestingly,CBD is often used to relieve the negative effects of THC, such as paranoia. CBD also aids our bodies to maintain homeostasis.

Benefits of CBD

Studies have shown that CBD can aid with everything from stress, anxiety, insomnia, pain to skin issues.

Why Terp Science Labs?

Terp Science Labs is honored to partner with the best hemp cultivators in the country. Our hemp is sun- grown, and grown in organic soil in accordance within the strict guidelines of the Department of Agriculture. Lab testing is done from seed to sale to ensure consistency and quality.

How can I take CBD?

The most popular ways to take CBD are tinctures, topicals, capsules, food and drink infusions. To add to your convenience we have produced hemp flower pre-rolls in four unique strains. What's different from our pre-rolls is that we also infuse our terpenes to improve the smell, taste and effectiveness of our CBD prerolls. Our pre- rolls are made with top quality hemp flower, never shake or biomass. Perfect for those who don't want to take CBD oil as tinctures under their tongue and works faster than edibles.

We will continue to inform you on other ways to enjoy all the cannabinoids this miraculous plant has to offer. In the meantime, leave a comment about what we should cover next. Also, don't forget to follow us on Instagram @terpsciencelabllc.
